The new nine holes at Goose Valley will be designed by Phil Jacobs of Gary Player Design with sweeping views of the ocean, the Keurbooms estuary, the Robberg peninsula and the Tsistikama Mountains.
Enhancements will also be made to the first nine holes at the course and the clubhouse and members facilities at the estate will be upgraded.
An exclusive housing estate, known as Turtle Creek Golf Estate, will be developed on the scenic new nine holes.
Turtle Creek, a company owned by local businessmen, has acquired 33 hectares of land adjacent to the existing nine-hole course to accommodate the second nine and its residential development.
